What is San Sumba?
Salsa, tango, bachata, reggaeton and more come together to create a fun-filled dance aerobics class that'll put you in a good mood and have you feeling great all week!
Each one-hour class is $5. And because we know you're going to love it...
Your first class is FREE!
San Sumba is designed for people of all fitness levels, from beginners to those with experience. If you can move to music, you can do San Sumba, as the moves are simple and easy to modify based on your comfort level.
The goal is to have fun while exercising!
This class is for women only. Teenagers are welcome but must have a signed waiver by a legal guardian.

Frequently Asked Questions
What Should I Wear?
Dance exercise is high energy and involves a lot of movement. Wear clothing that is comfortable and allows you to move freely. You will work up a sweat!
For shoes, most basic sneakers or tennis shoes that you would wear to the gym work great. Something lightweight with good cushion is preferred.
There are a few songs at the end of the workout that focus on balance, stretching, and more detailed footwork, to which participants will have the option of going barefoot or keeping their shoes on.
What Should I Bring?
✅ Water bottle
✅ Small towel if you sweat a lot and like to dry your face
✅ Yoga mat is optional. We will do some stretching on the floor to cool down at the end of the workout so if you prefer to do this on a yoga mat instead of the bare floor, feel free to bring one!
How "In-Shape" Do I Need to be to Participate?
You do not need to be in shape to do San Sumba. This dance aerobics class is designed for people of all fitness levels, from beginners to those with experience. If you can move to music, you can do San Sumba, as the moves are simple and easy to modify based on your comfort level. The goal is to have fun while exercising.
The set of choreographed songs are designed to be easy to follow while still challenging you. While we will mix it up sometimes to keep it fresh & fun, the workout songs will repeat with each class so that you become really comfortable with the choreography and can focus on having a great time dancing... we mean exercising. 😁
Additionally, by attending San Sumba, you will learn the basic steps to dances like the bachata, salsa and the tango so you can be the life of the next party you go to.

How Long is the Workout?
Each class is an hour long including built-in breaks.
Who Can Participate?
Women of all ages! But if you are under 18, a signed waiver by a legal guardian is required.
What is the Cost?
Classes are $5 each but your first class is FREE! Invite a friend to come try it out. Punch cards are also available. Each time you come to a class, we'll punch your card and when you have 10 punches, you'll get another FREE class!
